Question for people that have installed lcd in bose hu locatinon

The other day I went to circuit city because thats where I bought my Alpine 7894 HU, to get a free install of the hu. Yeah I realized buying retail is a major ripoff, but I had 200$ in gift certificates so it didn't matter in this case. Anyway I went to the install place and told the guy that I wanted him to remove the bose, and then install the alpine hu in the little compartment below where the bose is because I was later going to put and lcd in the dash where the bose was currently. Well he said theres no way he would do it for me and I should go somewhere else, and I didn;t pay for the install anyway. This is true but I did pay 100$ extra for the hu buying it at ****ty circuit city, so I feel I want to get installe for free. He said theres no brackets and its a circuit city company policy that it has the unit has to be secured. Well I know he saw that I had bose and didn't wanted to deal with it, and thats why he made this bull**** up. But I am wondering is there actually a mounting bracket in area where that little compartment is when you unscrew that thing? If there is no bracket then how did you guys mount the hu in there securely? This guy first assured me it wouldn't fit, which I know this is untrue becauseI have seen pictures of peoples hu's in there, and then when i told him this he said he would probably scratch my dash trying to get it in there and I told him i would not hold him responsible, and then he said he wouldn't do it at all.

I have taken my dash apart before to install my Sirius system and the little compartment mounts the same as a radio. It should fit in there fine.

The pocket that is in there now is held in by four screws, the same four screws that would hold your headunit firmly. The location is identical to mounting it any higher (like in the factory space). There are absolutely NO differences....
